"Demolition work of the shelter home and Thakur's residence has started. It was delayed by three days as it was expected to start on Tuesday," Suresh Kumar Sinha, an official of Muzaffarpur municipal corporation, said.
He said the demolition work began after the Supreme Court refused to entertain a petition for a stay filed by Thakur, currently lodged in Patiala Jail in Punjab.
