Sr. Lidwin Fernandes Appointed as CCBI Women’s Commission Secretary 
Bangalore 18 January, 2019 (CCBI): Rev. Sr. Lidwin Fernandes (42), belongs to the North Province of Ursuline Franciscan Sisters (UFS) is appointed as the Executive Secretary for the CCBI Commission for Women. Sr. Lidwin was born on 18 July, 1977, Mangalore, Karnataka. She joined the Congregation of Ursuline Franciscan Sisters and made her first profession on 4 April, 1999 and final profession on 5 April, 2005. She holds BA degrees in arts and education and a master’s degree in history. She is having diplomas in youth ministry and bible.
She was the principal of St. John Berchmans’ School, Kolkata from 2013-2016 and the head mistress of St. Mary’s School, Kolkata from 2016-2018. Currently she is serving the Youth Commission of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India as National Animator for ICYM, YCS and YSM.
