Kerala Latin Church's media conclave starts today
Fr. Paul Thelekkatt will be among the key speakers on the topic on the changes in Kerala society and the interventions made by the media.
The two-day conclave at Ashir Bhavan, Kacherippady, will be inaugurated by Finance Minister T. M. Thomas Isaac at 5 p.m. on the opening day, said the press release. Archbishop Francis Kallarakkal of Verapoly, who is also the chairman of the media commission, will preside over the inaugural function. Hibi Eden, MLA, will deliver the keynote address, the press release said.
The conclave will also see the honouring of George Veliparampil, who was the editor of the daily Kerala Times. He is a historian and writer, the press release said.
